Coalinga Construction Updates

unWired Broadband, a leading high-speed Internet provider in California, announced today it has begun construction on its state-of-the-art NextGen Fiber Internet network in Coalinga, CA. This $11 million project will deliver Internet speeds of up to 1 Gbps and beyond to the entire City of Coalinga, totaling over 4,874 addresses. Construction will be completed in late October, with service becoming available in initial neighborhoods in April.

The anticipated construction start point is east of Elm Street between 6th & 3rd, with the assistance of their partners at Telcon Services. They will notify residents by doorhanger before construction begins in their area.

When construction begins, their teams will use cable placement techniques that limit disruptions wherever possible. However, there will be some areas where digging is required, and additional excavation is necessary. unWired will try to contact each homeowner before construction to discuss the details.

A couple of weeks after construction is complete in your area, the construction crew will be followed by a separate cleanup and restoration crew that will repair any damage.
